Muuuzr (pronounced muse-er) is the result of the forward thinking of Steve Sheehan, a songwriter, musician, and music enthusiast.  Born and raised in California, Steve was a drummer for about 20 years, playing in bands around Hollywood for about 5 years.  He has been songwriting for about 35 years, and writing poetry and lyrics for about 40 years.  With all of these efforts in mind, Steve always found it difficult to get any of his material recognized to the larger community, or to the world.  He was always of the thinking, “If someone would just give me a chance…”.  Various music resources always offered to help, but most just take your money without providing any help of any real value.  It’s like they’re saying, you can put your stuff on our site, but after that you’re on your own.  That’s where the idea behind muuuzr started…

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT

The centric idea behind muuuzr was this:  how can I get my music in front of people.  Not just residing on someone’s website, but how can I actually be assured of it legitimately being put in from of a large audience and let them decide what’s good, what’s bad, and maybe what just needs some work.  That’s the core of muuuzr, allow artists to put their music in front of real people and let them decide.  Be it 10 people, 100 people, 1000 people or maybe more, you’re sure to pick up a larger fanbase than you started with.

Another primary goal for us is to fill a current void in the aspiring artist marketplace:  in terms of the music world, you’re considered no one until you’re someone, and until you are someone, no one wants you.  Our goal, our mission, is to help you become someone, where the power players start to pay notice to you and you start calling the shots.  Where you go from there is up to you.
